I am an interior designer who is naïve enough to believe that I can make a difference in the world with my profession. I believe design is an everchanging discipline and I am willing to grow with it. I love what I do and aspire to live like I am never working a day in my life. My ultimate goal is that the user get to experience my love for design.

South Africa has a strong beer culture. Microbreweries and brewpubs have more than doubled in the last few years, inspired by international trends. Three enthusiasts are passionate about craft beer and have been brewing beer from their homes for several years. They have decided to take the plunge and open a 'brewpub' brewing their own special artisan blends from local ingredients for distinctive and unique flavours.

Heritage can incorporate both the tangible and intangible. Tangible heritage refers to physical aspects such as historical artworks, artefacts, buildings and monuments. The world is ever-changing; thus, it is inevitable that the meaning of heritage sites/practices also changes and often loses relevance in contemporary times. Therefore, reusing heritage buildings to make them relevant in modern times is essential for creating sustainable communities.

The CDE (Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology) was established in 1994 to introduce much-needed higher levels of care for persons with diabetes mellitus in South Africa. The CDE is the only genuinely doctor-based managed healthcare programme in South Africa and is considered the premier diabetes programme in the country. That said, the focus is client-centred, team-based care with the involvement of diabetes nurse educators, dietitians, biokinetics and more.

This project is an inclusive home for Mr and Mrs Jackson. Mr Jackson is in a wheelchair, while Mrs Jackson has Parkinson's disease. To date the couple has not been able to find a home that suits both of their needs. They have purchased a home that they found somewhat suitable at a very affordable price and have decided to renovate the house to better accommodate their needs. For this project, the kitchen, bathroom and vertical circulation areas were mainly focused on.

The Hillcrest Medicross is expanding to include a cosmetic dermatologist facility, the Skin Aesthetic Clinic. The expansion is to broaden the range of services offered at the hospital. Cosmetic dermatology is considered a group of treatments to enhance personal appearance. The project is the design for the healing skin-care clinic that will receive a minimum five-star rating on the GBSCA interior tool.
